Pastor Tony Bulawa and his wife Paula are originally from Connecticut.  In August of 2005, along with their four children, they moved to Surprise, Arizona, believing it to be the Lord’s will for them to plant an Independent Baptist Church in this community.

Before moving to Surprise, the Bulawa family ministered in French speaking Québec, Canada for five years.  While in Québec, Pastor Bulawa and his family served in existing churches, as well as helping to establish new works.

Before, answering the call to “fulltime ministry” Pastor Bulawa served eleven years in the Law-Enforcement community in Connecticut.  He and his family are excited about the opportunities of ministering in the Metro Phoenix Valley’s North-West corner, and are looking for the Lord to do great things as the Mountain Side Baptist Church is established for the glory of God.
